Nah that's just mono. Sounds like a hardware fault. Try getting something soft and brushing the inside of the jack. Could be just dust dirt in around the contacts.

haydins4: Nope all headphones i have tryed it will not work have done a factory with no change

I had an issue with my last phone. It was a simple connecter problem in the 3.5 jack. I found the pins that contact the plug and pulled them up to make better contact. Took 2 hours of should I shouldn't I, 30 minutes of watching tear down vid and 5 mins to fix.

@johnR
What the heck is wrong with Vodafone network today? Can't make any calls or text from my S3. So I did all the tweaks and even had to reflashed the phone just to be sure. Thought it was my phone but my work phone HD7 is having the same issue.

Sms failed to sent and had to bloody reboot the phone multiple times to get the connection. I had to put it on flight mode at times then enabling it back to get connected.
What the hell. What a terrible service.

I managed to get through to 777 but after waited 15mins on waiting list then to find out that the phone ring and the operator on the other end hang up on me. Ftw! Please forward this feed back to the Vodafone network guys that it is terrible.

Do you live in Auckland? I heard something on the radio today about Vodafone upgrading something and 3G or something along those lines was out.

Hamilton.
I keep getting network errors messages. SMS took 15mins to send sometimes and most of the time it puke back out. I have to keep resend it many times to get through.
At least text all the customers that they are doing some rework and expect some errors.
Instead of me running around trying to find the issue.
Been like this all day already for me.

Please stop junking up the S3 thread with Vodafone network issues. Should have created a new thread in Vodafone forum for this.

Cheers.

Sorry for OT a bit. Didn't want to register on Vodafone forum. It was related to my Galaxy S3 though, I first thought it was my phone's fault. But now we all know it's not. Anyway, anyone tried 4.1.2 leaked yet?

I think it matches the Note 2's gallery. Looks great.

Testing the handset in 2G / GSM mode would of shown not a handset issue and you can't SMS 2.4 million customers advising of planned work in one region

Sorry back OT now
