Is there anyone here that knows when Telecom is going to release their 4.1.2 ROM ???
VF users have received theirs about a week ago !

Or does anyone have contact with someone at Telecom who can answer the question?

There are reps from all telcos in geekzone, hopefully they are reading these posts as they have replied to earlier posts in this thread..

2Degrees have given a timeline of 2weeks from now

Thread has gone very quiet Sealed and still no news from any Telecom reps Cry on the release of 4.1.2.

Or 2D :( Normally it's one after the other, but it's been a while since Vodafone released it now.

Phone is just so laggy and slow, I'm not sure If i can take it in and get it replaced? (And blame the chip)

2degrees did say in another thread along the lines that they've worked on it and to expect it in less that 2 weeks (off the top of my head)

I've been checking daily for it, but no luck yet... 217 days and counting...

We on 2 Degrees are waiting for 21st Feb (2 week timeline from 7th Feb)
Hopefully the update starts to rollout by then..

Its interesting though.. that telecom hasnt committed to any timelines.. maybe they are playing it safe and not giving timelines..

Funny, I came to look at the thread a few minutes before you posted to see if anyone had noticed if the Telecom firmware was released yet :/

I did this around a month back, when it first started happening, it didn't improve at all.

You're lucky mate.. to have reached 217 days and counting.. I am on day 197 and I am only hoping my phone goes over the 200days mark and before it dies.. the fix comes along in 4.1.2..

I got my S3 on the day they were released in NZ so i'd have expected to encounter SDS by now. My emmc chip is dated 04/12 but appears to be going ok since I upgraded to 4.1.2

You don't need to root handsets to update them to latest firmware

I have a 2Degrees model and I'm running a custom rom. My only issue now is that my battery life is pretty poor, usually don't get much more than 2hrs screen time. It's possible that my original battery is just worn out so need to look into getting a new or extended one.

Lately my GSIII has been freezing while doing standard things, checking Facebook, browsing the web etc, yesterday it started randomly rebooting.

I took the SD card out and it never rebooted again for the rest of the day so we will see how it goes from here.

Could this be a Fast Dormancy problem?

No, I have disabled FD as I'm using my phone on Telecom. Remember I was the one who wrote the guide that the app is based on :P
