How do u text people hu live in austrailia?

Depends on the aussie number.

If you have the mobile number, take off the front zero.

then send it to +61 <number without the zero>

Say the number is 021 12345678

then you need to send the text to +612112345678

The plus is part of the number. You'll have to work out how to get it on your phone. I hold down the * key on my Nokia to get +.

61 means australia.

For Telecom you need to use 00 then the country code, i.e. 0061

for Telecom NZ the international access code 00 prefix is optional for SMS, but the rest of the digits must be the international format of the destination mobile number starting with the country code.
