using My Icons and windows

, posted: 17-Dec-2007 12:10

Well the control of icons on windows has always been a issue since my Amiga days.

Ok, so my problem,  changing shortcut icons.  When I go to change the icon, the icon choice I am presented with, it some and file in my windows programs files.  Yeah, right, very use full and friendly.

My solution.  I made a folder in My Documents called My Icons.  When I find an icon I like, I save it to that folder,  so when I look for a replacement icon for something on my desktop, i have my icons.
