iGoogle? new look to googles personalised page?

I thought for a moment I was being phished, but it looks interesting.
is this serious? or a tongue in cheek stab at Apple?

This is official and it's the new name for Google Personalised Pages. It also includes a toolkit for users to create their own Google gadget applications for their home pages.

The iGoogle just appeared yesterday. You can also apply themes to your iGoogle page

This might have to do with the URL: google.co.nz/ig which has been that way since personalised pages started.
If you click on "Classic Home" at the top, you will see a link back to iGoogle.
