Google Blackout? 18th december? (20th NZ AU)
There seems to be plans for a google blackout, I've heard of these happening before, but this one seems to be gaining ground....
Im interested to see if people think it will make a difference. I think at this stage it'll take an order of magnitude more people signing up and participating before google even care, and even then, whether it will effect the T&C's on you tube. who can say?
I expect it will be more likely a minor reworking - such as the reworking to the Chrome T&C's after the net wide backlash.

This seems a little imature, IMHO. The basis of the complaints is "censorship", which is just not true. They will simply be demoting videos with more explicit content from the "most viewed" page. The videos will still exist... Not to mention the fact that Google search has done this since forever. It simply seems that Google is trying to make Youtube more "family friendly", and they are going about it in a fair way.
