open file explorer->browse to storage card,
Open directory with a large number of files in it, including a sub-directory with a large number of sub folders and files.
it then locked the unit up, I left it for about 30 minutes and still no response from the unit,
wouldnt turn on or off, or respond to being cradled, so I assumed it had crashed.
i then checked every other directory, no crash.
I removed the sub-directory.
then removed all the files, a file at a time checking for a lock up or crash, nothing went wrong, until I got right towards the end,
then I had a lockup for about 35 seconds.
now its fine.
So I swap it to my other unit I am running with AKU2, try the same thing, it too takes about 35 seconds then starts responding, and the lock up no longer occurs even when removing the device.
however, that was a once off occurrence, and is now no longer occurring.
I never encounted this behaviour prior to the update, Im in the process of rebuilding the sub dirs, to see if I can get it to lock up completely.
I wont go on about this anymore in blog entries, until / unless I can work out the cause completely however I would be keen to hear from anyone else who has seen similar occurring.
