In other news, the kill-joys at The Environmental Risk Management Authority have decided to take the meth out of the meths. That's right, no more methanol in methylated spirits. This is terrible news for Bacchanalian freelancers whose main, affordable source of inspiration is now gone. What are we supposed to do now? Write down what the voices in our heads say? Better than copying press releases that, I suppose, but still....

its only wrong to copy press releases if you don't identify them as such.

Methanol is the poisonous alcohol added to ethanol in an attempt to stop people drinking methylated spirits. The real story is that the replacements taste lousy.
