Would you buy a used car from this person?

Browsing TradeMe's car section, I looked at the Jaguars (yeah, I know, not entirely sensible) and found a '99 S-Type. Nothing unusual about that, but the seller or whoever it is that's modelling on the bonnet of the car seems quite remarkable:

Mmm... think I might pass on that. $15k seems a bit pricey anyway.

Then he missed the guy in this image - DOH!!!!

TradeMe Man II

hint hint.... lol.

The auction wording: "OFFERS $15K OR ABOVE ONLY PLEASE...OR DON'T BOTHER ASKING BELOW AS YOU WILL NOT BE ANSWERED" and combining that with the amount of feedbacks - nuff said!

I messaged him:

Hi, i take it $15k is the auction start price?

Whats your buynow? I guess car is worth $23 or $24k.

I dont have that much, but if you pull the auction out now, I could come and pay you $20,000. Do you have any buyer fee I have to pay? Some auctions like turners have the buyer fee. How much more on this one?

Well... we have a lot of volcanoes in Auckland, so don't be surprised to discover thetans on Trademe.

Okay thanks!

How much do I need to pay. My dad said he will give me the money, but he said to make sure I get best price from you. He said he will give a bank cheque today.

Please let me know soon, as I really want it!
