This time I noticed the installer discovered my GFX and installed the driver for it, everything loaded up and seemed great. One screen was working & the other switched off, hmm thats never happened before. OK, so of course this is where I try and get the dual monitor situation going, yeap, the options are way more intuitive, and I select the additional screen, and resolution.
I also noticed that there is a proper resolution for my primary screen, 1680x1050. Alrighty, so far so good. Reboot for changes to take affect.
NOPE, stupid computer. haha, ahh well.
(collects shot gun and unloads a few rounds into new install dvd).. that feels better.
Why does it not just change the config file back to last working version and reload?!
OK, question, if you can supply easy answer, how do I change the config file back to just after clean install, so that my graphics works, without me having to reinstall the entire system again?
