Try Again...

OK, so I've decided hosting my own website through dyndns isn't really worth my time as I can do all the stuff I want to without going through the hassle of installing & running it on my own computer... I might still get around to setting up a mail server at home at some stage, but that's probably not hugely likely at present *sigh* Ah well. Let's see how long -this- 'blog lasts... I'm not very good at keeping these updated.

Hmm.. Hosting...

I did that at home for a while, PHP only for my website using the TCL Cable network. Unfortunately my MySQL database was hosted in the US and it caused the website to load rather slowly. I now have both hosted there. I would like to have it self hosted but I'm currently moving out of the TCL Cable coverage area.. Lets hope ADSL gets a lot better up hills soon!
