How to crash Springboard the easy way
Blog Posts, posted: 28-Feb-2008 21:53
What the feeling of crashing the whole iPhone/iPod interface without using 3rd party apps (because you're locked)?
Well, here's my way (works for basically all versions I've tried, locked and unlocked):
It only will work when you can get the scrolling at a fast speed and pressing the home button at the right time.
Works anywhere as long as you can pull up the mini player.
Easy eh?

JotSpot... now Google Sites!

It took quite a bit of time, but Google has now introduced wikis into their long line of products and services to bring you Google Sites (under their Google Apps banner).

The only odd thing is that they seem to focus this towards businesses (collaboration... etc) rather than just ordinary users.
Well folks, it's only FOR people who hold their own domain name as it's REALLY under Google Apps:

Updates on ihug webmail... it seems that they do listen.

Things have happened since my last post on ihug's webmail interface:
The other issues:
It seems that the people at Vodafone really do listen...
- Help works
- Mac-like search field works
- The background is now completely white: (Ahh! My eyes!)

I would've like it if it was a pastel orange, light grey or a very soft red. Just something to make it less bright white.
Is someone being lazy and editing the background rather than the picture?
The other issues:
- The IE7 issue was because I've got a poor font installed (I've tracked it down from the CSS), so that's not an actual problem, and
- The message selection issue still remains, but I don't think it's that big of a bug

It's coming... 2GB on an iPod shuffle
Blog Posts, posted: 20-Feb-2008 16:00
Yep, it's coming soon:

The 2GB iPod shuffle will come with a RRP of $99 (cheaper than the previous 1GB price
), while the current 1GB model has been reduced in price to $75 (that's over $50 off - it used to be $129
)
At the new price, I think Apple should just dump the 1GB model. I don't think many would actually like a 1GB model, when for only $24 more they can get double the capacity.
