iPhone 3G now unlocked

, posted: 18-Dec-2008 01:18

This is particularly interesting for me as I have an UK O2 iPhone - iPhone Dev Team has announced that 3G unlock codenamed “yellowsn0w” is now completed and is currently been packaged up into an installer package/application

This will only work on the older basebands (before 2.2). Unfortunately I couldn't resist and had already upgraded my iPhone to 2.2, so I guess I will have to wait till I return to the UK to use my iPhone :)

So currently iPhone Dev team: 2 and Apple: 0
