Upgraded ROM

, posted: 20-Jun-2006 08:37

Well I finally took the plunge yesterday and upgraded my ROM on the Jasjar to the latest version, after some encouraging posts from Mauricio. I had been reading some of the posts on http://www.clubimate.com and some of the stories weree a bit horrifying.
Needless to say my upgrade went smoothly and ive spent the past 12 hrs or so reloading all my software and tweaking it how I like it.
The email problem ive been having has been now been solved as well.
I note a difference in the radio Manager and I think there is also less problems with programms hogging storage memory after they have closed down.

Hello there fellow JasJar user! I have been trying to change the registry with PHM registry editor, but get an error every time I try to create a new key. 8-( Do you have any clues of how to resolve this?

Ill ask a m8 in Singapore there Spider NZ. Ill get back to you on this one. Can you be a little more specific about what you are trying to do??

It appears that the way to edit the registry on the JasJar is to use MobileRegistry Editor instead of PHM registry editor. The reason for wanting to edit the registry is to be able to use 802.11g instead of 802.11b. Of course the changes/mods won't stop there! 8-)

SBP Plus 3.1.2 will automatically actually completly stop every program from running in memory whenever you close the program.
