Might be worth watching..

"Why are broadband subscribers still simmering with discontent months after the promised unleashing of the local loop? We examine the complaints, demystify the technology, and ask Telecom if unbundling has left it tangled in knots."

That interview with the head of technology at Telecom was a train wreck for Telecom, as far as I am concerned. It was came across as an admission that the status quo is terrible, despite the time and money invested into the network.

What time and money invested in the network?

The lack of investment is Telecom's problem. I loved how they kept using the example of a motorway and slow traffic when there are too many new onramps. Telecom's problem is they don't have many motorways, just lots of surburban streets.
