New Rig... just for surfing like (",)

Just bought myself a new PC, since the laptop is getting a little tired and very full...

Decided on a Dell Inspiron 530 Desktop
Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo Processor 2.66GHz, 4MB L2 Cache, 1333MHz FSB
3GB (2X1GB/2x512MB) NECC Dual Channel DDR2 667MHz SDRAM Memory
500GB SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive with Native Command Queuing
Dual Drives 16X Max DVD-ROM + 16X DVD+/-RW with Dual Layer Write Capabilities
256MB PCIe(TM)x16 NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) 8600GT w/TV-Out & Dual DVI
Integrated 7.1 Audio
Dell 24"UltraSharp(TM)(2407WFP-HC)Wide Screen Flat Panel LCD Monitor(Analog&DVI)

What do you think?  Not bad for $2k.  Decided against laptop this time around since storage capacity was always an issue (even with an ext 250GB HDD).

It arrived today, so need to get the kids off to bed early (yeah right) so I can set the beast up!

Very nice, you must be a very happy camper.

I bought myself a Dell m1330 w/ all the options recently, it's a great laptop but the 3D card in it (Nvidia 8400M GS) isn't that great. In fact, it's a sad bit of tech, compared to other things.

You'll have no such grief with a 8600 GT though! Enjoy!
