Eyefi -- waiting for the courier to bring mine

, posted: 3-Nov-2007 18:48

Eye-fi have launched and are available from amazon.. i've ordered but there's a 5week delivery time expected (and that's to Tennessee) Eye-fi is a SD card, with a wifi chip inside. You put it in your digital camera, and each time you take a photo you leave your camera on a little longer while the card finds a wifi ap, and uploads your photo the end result is: 1. take a photo, 2. it's on flickr. or your own server instead of flickr.

How do you configure it? Stick into a PC or PDA to confgure it then to the camera?

This was recently reviewed on dpreview.com, and the feedback was so-so.
