http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ulteo Ulteo is a forthcoming GNU/Linux distribution by Gaƫl Duval, the creator of the distribution Mandrake, now called Mandriva Linux. Ulteo will be according to Duval an "easy-to-use open-source operating system which should change the way people use computers". Duval has yet to state what these changes will be and what technology will bring them about. According to a forum post by Duval the current development version of Ulteo is based on Kubuntu/Debian. After working with Mandrake for more than seven years, Duval was fired from Mandriva after disappointing financial results in the final quarter of 2005.
