Cpanel drops Neomail support

By tonyhughes Hughes, in , posted: 7-Apr-2006 23:45

My web host just emailed me to say that they need to update to the latest version of Cpanel as soon as its available to fix some issues, but due to Neomail not having been actively developed for some time, Cpanel have decided to drop it from their lineup.

i.e. a webhost running Cpanel who keeps up with updates (hopefully everyone), will see Neomail simply disappear. Data files will be retained for download and viewing via a text editor.

Goodbye Neomail?

(Moot point for us Gmail users...)
