22" Of Samsung Goodness - The 226BW

What a sight to behold. I haven't been able to keep my eyes off it all day. Normally all the cool gear comes straight in and out same day, but this demo unit has been hanging around the office a few weeks now (Thanks Dave Watts @ Ingram Micro - you will now have to pry it out of my cold, dead hands).

The Samsung 226BW 22" might not be the absolute best monitor in existence, but dollar for dollar, it blows the bollocks off the competition that I have seen - its bright, clear, nice colours, good contrast, and potentially most importantly - it looks really good on a modern desk.

Typical specs: 1680x1050 resolution, 3000:1 contrast, 16x10, DVI, VGA etc etc

Might just have to buy myself one, if I can convince myself that the Acer I havent seen yet is cheaper than the Samsung for a reason...

I got a Dell 24" with the package deal last month (I see it is on offer again)... when I opened the box I said "oh my", the wife "what have you done!"

But we love it! Whenever anyone come to visit they all stare at the monster - ain't she a bewdy!?

Was alittle disappointed in the display colour tho. But over all im still very happy with my purchase. Runs very nicely with my PS3 also :)

I'm one of the unlucky 20 customers in NZ who got the A" panels are inferior to "S" ones. As expected, lower quality PCB only work for 1 month, and have been in service with TISCO for 3 months and still haven't got it back.
