Microsoft in Christchurch

, posted: 12-Sep-2006 16:26

From today's The Press paper in the section C - BusinessDay, there's a short article on about Microsoft is opening its first office in Christchurch. Microsoft NZ has approved a plan to open an office in the city by the end of the year.

I think this is great for Christchurch/Canterbury's business, and seeing that Microsoft NZ has a few corporate clients in this region (Canterbury District Health Board, Christchurch City Council, Otago University) as well as a few technology partners like HumanWare and Trimble Navigation.

I wonder whether there will be any job offering for additional roles for their Christchurch branch.
