As many of you may have know, I have Imate Jasjam (HTC Hermes 100) and it's been great. Got a few tweaks set on the pocketpc. And if you're looking to make some registry changes or tweaks to your JasJam (or any other HTC devices), it is worth the time to check out XDA Developer's Wiki. (HTC-Hermes) BEWARE: Any registry change made to your device will be at your own risk.

Can you tell me what settings if any you need to set to connect to XT. I just purchased an unlocked AT&T 8525 Hermes and it connects to 2 degrees fine but only reads the xt sim won't connect to the network. what do I need to do to make that happen? Any help would be appreciated

Hello Joel, there are quite a few possible links if you do a Google Search for "Telecome XT network settings", you should try searching first: http://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=telecom+xt+network+settings&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8 From that I could find: 1) http://www.geekzone.co.nz/NealR/6460 2) http://www.geekzone.co.nz/NealR/6498 3) http://iphoneguynz.wordpress.com/2009/08/22/iphone-mms-and-data-settings-for-vodafonetelecom-xt-network/ 4) http://www.geekzone.co.nz/iphone/6894 3) and 4) even though it is for iPhone, the vital settings are there. From above they should be enough to get you going with settings.

Sorry I think I said that wrong. It reads the number and contacts off the sim but doesn't connect for voice and texting. I believe these links are about Data. Is that correct? If so would you have any idea why this phone wouldn't connect to voice and data? Cheers, -Joel
