Wii: Sonic and the Secret Rings (Quick-look)

Just got this game out on rental for the weekend and I have always been a Sonic's fan since its Sega days. From the cover, it looks very much like the Sonic from post-Sega days, which was famous on Nintendo Gamecube, Sony PS2 and Xbox. In the past, I really dislike the 3D Sonic world style and it took away the classic side-scrolling/platform game-style. However, with Sonic and the Secret Rings, it unified the 3D world and the ease of play style into a total Wii-experience, and it fits quite well together. I will review more into this game as I spend a bit more over the weekend. The main point of this post is really about the technology mentioned/used in the game. First thing that got my curiousity and attention is that Sonic and the Secret Rings uses Ageia's PhysX for the game world physic rendering. Not that I have analyse it in fine detail but I am pleased to see that Wii's processor is capable to adapt the use of this technology. Further to my "investigation" into Ageia's PhysX technology, and where it is being used. It seems like Wii's launch title, Red Steel uses Ageia's PhysX too, there are several other titles used on PS3 and Xbox360, and of course on PC games too.

Does anyone know who rents Wii Titles in Tawa/Johnsonville/Porirua??
