, posted: 18-Jan-2007 09:19

I came across a few funny video clips when I was browsing around MSN Soapbox, while I was uploading a video clip there.

Thought I'll share a funny one.

Video: Sinking ship

And this one here demonstrate "BumpTop 3D Desktop". Looks pretty cool.

XDA Developer Wiki - HTC Hermes

, posted: 17-Jan-2007 14:24

As many of you may have know, I have Imate Jasjam (HTC Hermes 100) and it's been great. Got a few tweaks set on the pocketpc.

And if you're looking to make some registry changes or tweaks to your JasJam (or any other HTC devices), it is worth the time to check out XDA Developer's Wiki. (HTC-Hermes)

BEWARE: Any registry change made to your device will be at your own risk. (read the entire post)...

Imate website updated!

, posted: 21-Nov-2006 07:57

Hmmm... this comes as a good surprise!

Club Imate (or Imate official website) must have been updated recently. The layout has changed and it looks a lot nicer and more "business", compare to the previous look and feel which seems like a simple amatuer web designer's quick job.

Anyhow, I came across this when I read that Imate is about to release JAQ3 and PDAL but their information is not mentioned anywhere on their updated site... so we'll stay and see.

RipIt! Don't rip it off!

, posted: 16-Nov-2006 23:56

No... it's not encouraging anyone to rip music but purchase it from the site. And of course the music you buy from RipIt will be DRMed, and the format they support are WMV and WMA only. So Ipod users will have to burn it and rip it... (hmmm isn't that catch-22?)

Of course, there are other requirement, IE6 browser and Windows Media Player 9+.

I saw this at Dick Smith Electronic today... I wonder how well it is, or how big is its library. (read the entire post)...

New MS Logo/favicon

, posted: 25-Oct-2006 00:15

Just browsing over at Microsoft's site and I noticed the favicon. It is something that I never thought of noticing until tonight, and got me thinking: "Is that the new Microsoft logo/favicon?"

TCL's new TV Guide is LIVE!

, posted: 12-Oct-2006 17:04

Just got an email from TCL about the upcoming week of screening and what-not.

In the news update is also an announcement of the new TV Guide.

Now, if only TelstraClear also offer this in RSS or even in XML! That'll be great! With the option to use querystring to request the specific channel(s) and time and date. Imagine getting RSS feed of the channels and time-range that you want.

Also, imagine the use of XML onto Windows MCE's EPG!!!!!

Piracy Is Killing

, posted: 11-Oct-2006 14:52

As I was doing my blog-surf, I spotted several cool blogs and websites... then I saw this blog post from Henri, of Soo In Love.

He posted 3 images of "what-if" piracy has killed the movie, music and publication industry. It does give a bit of reflect and work your mind a bit, none-the-less the artwork is very well done. So head over to Henri's blog and check out his Piracy Is Killing blog-entry. (read the entire post)...

W00T! Inivitation to MSN Soapbox Beta!

, posted: 10-Oct-2006 23:09

Woohoo, I just got the invite to join MSN Soapbox Beta... Looks pretty good, it is Flash driven. Very cool. (If you haven't heard of MSN Soapbox, it is MSN's take of Google Video/YouTube et all)

However, I have a few comments about their "menu". Took me a while to find out where the "feedback" link is.. then I re-read the "Invitation" email I received, blam! It's there. So if you've forgotten where/what it is, and you search the web and found this blog, the MSN Soapbox beta feedback (read the entire post)...

Update Needed!

, posted: 6-Oct-2006 12:34

Seeing that Vodafone has got their new WM5 devices out for sale... yet their "Vodafone Handheld business devices, PDAs, and mobile phones" page still stucked in slightly older range of products... I mean, there are new Blackberries out, new HP HW6965 and HW6815, and few new Imate products too... Why aren't they updating this important, appealing "business" page to showcase new business devices?

There are two new Blackberries: 7130v and 8707v to replace the current list (read the entire post)...

Better Customer Communication?

, posted: 4-Oct-2006 10:05

Just popped over to Vodafone NZ website today, and saw that they posted a notice regarding a technical problem to their prepaid charges system.

I have not come across this and personally I think this is well done for Vodafone NZ. Looks like they are improving their communication to their customers to provide more up to date issues.

The above is the screenshot of the "Technical Problems". (read the entire post)...
