, posted: 4-Oct-2006 10:09

Follow up to the last blog [Goodbye Telecom, Hello TelstraClear (The Last Leg)], with the minor hiccup on the day of installation and a fair bit of calling back and forth with TelstraClear CSR, Fault Technician etc... we finally glad to say: "We've SWITCHED!"

Thank you TelstraClear for making the switching relatively easy. And to Telecom NZ, thanks for the fine 14.5 years of your service.

Better Customer Communication?

, posted: 4-Oct-2006 10:05

Just popped over to Vodafone NZ website today, and saw that they posted a notice regarding a technical problem to their prepaid charges system.

I have not come across this and personally I think this is well done for Vodafone NZ. Looks like they are improving their communication to their customers to provide more up to date issues.

The above is the screenshot of the "Technical Problems". (read the entire post)...

Goodbye Telecom, Hello TelstraClear (The Last Leg)

, posted: 26-Sep-2006 15:50

Follow up to the previous instalment of "Goodbye Telecom, Hello TelstraClear (A step closer)", today the installer came and complete the process of migrating the last bit of the telecom leg on to TelstraClear.

So from today onward, our homeline holds two numbers - one from Telecom for "old time sake" and one from TelstraClear for "moving forward".

This conclude the TelstraClear's Triple Services for a complete phoneline, television, and broadband internet in one single (read the entire post)...

, posted: 25-Sep-2006 08:32

As there are quite a few laptop from pre-2005 era, that may have some difficulty when trying to run Windows Vista beta. BUT What about the SD Card reader? I disco (read the entire post)...
