Appreciation

[From Dictionary.com]

Looking at this word from Dictionary.com, what does it really mean? It is an expression of gratitude.

How many of us, really sit down and think about this; "What do I appreciate for today?" or "Who do I appreciate?"?

Many times a day, we tend to forget that each and everyone that we come in contact with, regardless it is a long-term, short-term, temporary, brief moment or whatever length of time. We don't treat each other as humanly as s (read the entire post)...

Customer Service provided by customer?

, posted: 22-Sep-2006 11:53

Last night when TelstraClear's network was down abruptly, I can't get onto the Internet via my PocketPC on Wifi. At first I thought it was the wifi router at fault, and with a bit of fumble around, then decided to get onto the Internet using my Vodafone Mobile Connect card.

Found out that TelstraClear's network was down with major problem. Of course this will mean at least good handful of night-owls will be out of Internet access, and from the look of their network status (read the entire post)...

HTC to cut ties with O2 and i-mate?!

, posted: 20-Sep-2006 09:57

Well I can't say this is not to be expected... seeing that HTC has decided to direct with branding and manufacturing. This could mean that HP and Dopod will be pretty doomed in terms of getting HTC manufactured products. However, one thing surprises me is that, isn't Palm also outsourced their manufacturing to HTC? So if so, won't this could virtually mean something "might" be happening with HTC and Palm? If not then why HP may be in the cut?

Anyhow, this is reported at Sm (read the entire post)...

My Gadgets (II)

, posted: 19-Sep-2006 22:14

Continue from the previous "gadget talk"... in this blog, I'm going to show you all what other gadgets we have at home.

We have a 32" Philips LCD with Ambilight2 and PixelPlus2, mounted on the wall and is great! Connected to our TelstraClear Digital TV Decoder, which feeds signals through to LCD TV And WMC on RCA, and also RF out for Free-To-Air channels. With this method, we don't use any Terrestrial Aerial at all. Signals are clearer on normal RF Channels, not that we use the norm (read the entire post)...

My Gadgets (I)

Lately, I have been thinking quite a bit on how I can better use all my gadgets that I have got now and a couple of the new gadgets that I am planning to get.

So far I have an old Compaq H3850 PocketPC running WM2003, which was given to me by my beloved father for my graduation/21st Birthday/1998 Christmas present. I have kept it for remembering my father and I still use it today for odd Solitaire game. I also have the PCMCIA jacket, and CF jacket which I just recently got. And from m (read the entire post)...

DSE Product Link Mystery: SOLVED

, posted: 15-Sep-2006 11:41

I got a good news! And I think all the geeks out there that visit DSE website, and do a lot of C&P (Copy & Paste) of URL will rejoice with this solution!

One would typically copy the URL from DSE's website which will look something like this: [http://www.dse.co.nz/cgi-bin/dse.storefront/4509ea8406e39be82741c0a87f99071f/Product/View/XP0190], which will bring you to nothing useful.

However, after studying the site and tried their "Email page link", it will fire up the "Co (read the entire post)...

Link It! Link It!

, posted: 15-Sep-2006 09:13

I just had a curiosity to find out where else is my "Tech & Chips Takeaway" being linked to, and it is great to see my blog got linked to several places. I would like to thank you all for linking me to your site/blog. Whether it is via RSS or manual linking, or some linkbots, they are all good for me!

Though, I must set a guideline on how you would carry out the linking. So here comes the "guideline"; please ensure the link title/name is "Tech & Chips Takeaway", if you have a limited (read the entire post)...

Dream

, posted: 15-Sep-2006 08:39

Just before the wake of the dawn, all the sudden I had a dream. It is actually quite funny and somewhat "envious".

As Geekzone 2006 is drawing very near (tomorrow) and due to other commitment and priority at home, I was unable to attend Geekzone 2006 and to see other fellow GZers. However, I had a great surprise to you guys!

I HAVE BEEN TO THE GEEKZONE 2006! Well not in actual flesh and bones, but in thoughts and mind. You see, I dreamt of me making a real surprise, last mi (read the entire post)...
