, posted: 19-Jan-2007 10:44

A colleague of mine had this posted in his forum and it makes a good laugh :-)

It is a "what-if" of the airline carriers are operating systems.

Worth the read and laugh :-) (read the entire post)...

TabletKiosk eo i7209 Stolen

, posted: 19-Jan-2007 09:36

I saw this from CarryPad UMPC Journal that TabletKiosk UK has contacted them to put an announcement out that one of their UMPC was stolen.

It may be highly unlikely that this particular device will end up here in this part of the world, however it is a good gesture to spread this notice to all part of the world to make people aware that TabletKiosk UK has the stolen device's serial number and all.

From CarryPad:
TabletKiosk UK have contacted me to report that an i (read the entire post)...

Free online charting web application (Gliffy.com)

, posted: 18-Jan-2007 12:49

So we had this topic in the Geekzone forum [What's your LAN like?]. And a few of the members have really cool diagram (using Visio) and some even got nice icons/images, some are pretty basic. Regardless, everyone did a pretty good job to show how their LAN is set up/connect up.

As for mine, I don't have Visio installed and I don't want to go through the length of installing Visio just so I can show my network diagram... So off I went to search for free charting program.

Nintendo GameCube games on Wii

, posted: 15-Jan-2007 08:50

Over the weekend, I rented the Pikmin2 and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicle for GameCube to play on our Wii.

This is the first time I ever played Pikmin2, although I have played Pikmin before on GameCube. The graphics look extremely well and much better than its previous version. The game is fun, and it's quite a puzzle like and kids-friendly and challenging. (I always like a cute puzzle game like this...)

And as for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicle, the game is quite a b (read the entire post)...

MS NZ Partner's Action Pack updated

, posted: 12-Jan-2007 13:09

From Microsoft NZ's Partner's website, it seems that they finally have included Vista and Office 2007 to their January update pack. The Windows Vista is Business edition, and Office 2007 is Enterprise edition, other Office 2007 products are also available, replacing the Windows XP and Office 2003 suite.

At this stage, the OEM contents are all deemed expired. There doesn't seem to have Vista Ultimate or Vista Home Premium OEM to test on, which is a departure from the previous OEM con (read the entire post)...

Updating blog CSS

, posted: 10-Jan-2007 11:45

To all readers, please forgive me for the "ugliness" of my blog appearance. In over the next few days, I am working on updating my blog CSS and so hopefully, it will be attractive once again.

However, this will not prevent you from your reading-pleasure for my blog entry update, it just "look" ugly that's all, for now... (read the entire post)...

Wii wired networking

, posted: 9-Jan-2007 22:19

Are you connected on broadband? No Wireless option with your router? Don't really use Nintendo WiFi USB for Windows XP? Looking to get Nintendo USB Wired Network Adapter?

Well you can get the non-official option now from DSE. I saw this forum discussion at Gameplanet that there are a few people used and tried DSE's XH8273 (DSE Adaptor USB 2.0 > 10/100) to achieve their Wii Connect24 and Internet access from Wii. It is priced at $49.95 and you don't need to install any software/d (read the entire post)...

Wii does 480p with Component

, posted: 9-Jan-2007 21:45

So followed up with my recent blog regarding our Wii. I just have to say it again... We love Wii!

Wii gets more game time in its 2 weeks of life in this house, than our Xbox or PS2 gets in a year, put together. Why? That's because its game play is so unique and different and easy that anyone can do it without too much hassle, and the usage of the Wii Remote and Nunchuck are quite intuitive (although some special moves, you'll be given quick instruction on how to use or employ the te (read the entire post)...
