Shuttle PC Unveils Next Barebones Kit for Home Users
Shuttle Inc., the manufacturer of Small Form Factor (SFF) PCs and accessories, launched the Shuttle XPC Barebone SD36G5, designed for home users.

Features of the XPC SD36G5 include:

  • Shuttle's G5 black aluminium chassis (1 stealthed drive door), 250W Mini PSU 110/240V
  • Intel 945G chipset with support for LGA775 chips (Pentium D, Pentium 4, Celeron)
  • 533/800/1066FSB with DDR2, 2x slots up to 2GB
  • Integrated, Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA950) 333Mhz core, up to 256MB shared video memory
  • 1x PCI-E 16x for off board graphics, 1x PCI-E (1x)
  • Realtek ALC882 audio with 7.1, with coaxial/optical SPDIF out, optical SPDIF in, line out, line in, mic in, cd-in, aux
  • Intel 10/100/1000Mbps ethernet
  • 2x SATAII connectors, with NCQ support and Intel RAID (1,0,JBOD)
  • 1x ATA100, 1x FDD
  • 4x USB2.0 (on case)
  • 2x IEEE1394a (400Mbps) Firewire
  • Serial (9pin) COM port and 2x PS/2 ports for mouse and keyboard

    This provides the basis from which users configure their own CPU, Memory, storage and video if they want.
