New Zealand government plans tech start-up finance boost

Speaking at the IITP 2013 Conference in Tauranga IT and Communications Minister Amy Adams told delegates the government is planning to make an announcement about funding for what she describes as the ‘incubator base’.

Adams says that spending money in the public sector is much harder than making private sector investments. She says: “There’s a much lower tolerance for errors. We’re now trying to find a path through this.”
