Perhaps the only thing that really annoyed me when my Motorola MPx220 Windows Mobile Smartphone arrived here (read our review) was the missing cradle. The USB cable supplied is not very flexible and the phone has to be in a certain position otherwise it will disconnect or ActiveSync will not recognise it.
At home I solved it by using ActiveSync over Bluetooth. At work I am using a Boxwave miniSync retractable cable (it charges and connects to ActiveSync at the same time). This is great, because I also have a car charger with USB option, so I can have the MPx220 always charging while in the car (yes, it seem like Boxwave have a charger with multiple options that include car, plane and wall charges all in one, but that is too much for my needs).
Now it seems like some Motorola accessories are actually universal across their line of smartphones and feature phones. According to Arne Hess over at PPCW.Net the missing cradle for the Motorola MPx220 is available - and it's actually the same cradle that works with other Motorola phones, like the V500/V600 series. Check PPCW.Net for lots of pictures and more information on this. And it costs only US$19.95.
