Looking for RSS and Microsoft Exchange Server Integration
Posted on 23-Sep-2005 12:21 by M Freitas | Tags Filed under: Blog

I am looking for a solution that would allow access to RSS feeds through Microsoft Outlook (client, OWA or OMA) from my Microsot Exchange Server.

The solution should be able to run on the server with no client involved. I tried Newsgator but it requires Outlook to run even if the folders are stored on an Exchange Mailbox. I also tried Newshound, and it is the same problem.

Also it ideally would allow me to select a specific mailbox - I don't want to use Public Folders because I want to be able to synchronise to a Windows Mobile device over Exchange ActiveSync as well, which only supports private folders.

I haven't tried Newsgator Enterprise Server simply because they didn't even bother replying to my email to the sales team - and they don't have a trial version available for download.

So, if anyone around here knows of a solution in this area, please let me know.
