Trying a RSS Solution for Exchange Server
Posted on 24-Sep-2005 12:11 by M Freitas | Tags Filed under: Blog

In my last blog post about this topic I was looking for a RSS solution for Exchange Server. Soon after that post I got contacted by someone at Newsgator, about their Newsgator Enterprise Server.

It seems that we will be able to test and review this solution sometime soon (depending on my schedule, due to my current travel plans. I can still access my Exchange server remotely (thanks to GotoMyPC) and might have some time to install the software while back in Santa Clara.

I plan to use this solution to have RSS feeds deposited into Exchange mailboxes, thus being able to actually synchronise over the air to Windows Mobile Devices. I am really excited about this - some pull-push RSS solution (pull RSS feeds to server, push to mobile device). The cool thing is that once marked as read on my device it will be marked as read as well on the server, after the next ActiveSync.

This sounds promissing...
