GoToMyPC and Pocket PC: not friends anymore?
I have been using GoToMyPC for a while now, and I believe it's a good program - it works well, it's fast, no need to change firewall settings (most of the times since it does not require an inbound connection). And most of of all, it works on Windows Mobile Pocket PC.

Or used to. Since their update to the new version 5.0 it seems that their scripts are having a hard time recognising the Pocket Internet Explorer browser. It used to work fine, showing a link to the ARM download, but now it just complains that it can't download the "Java Universal Viewer".

Yes, I know Pocket Internet Explorer does not support Java. But GoToMyPC used to have a native ARM code client. Where is this now? They have changed the Pocket PC version of their site and in the process it seems they manage to break it.

I have contacted their support - let's see how long does it take to fix this.

The whole thing is because I like the file transfer utility - otherwise I could just go for the free logmein.com, which also supports Windows Mobile Pocket PC.
