Southern Cross Cable Network today announced that while 2015 looked to be a year of massive capacity requirements, with the announced arrival plans of internet video streaming providers such as Netflix into Australia and New Zealand, Southern Cross and its resellers were well positioned to meet demand growth.

Telemarketing company fined almost $170K for misleading claims

Telemarketing company Power Marketing Limited has been fined $168,750 after pleading guilty in the Auckland District Court today to 23 charges under the Fair Trading Act. The charges related to misrepresentations the company made during telemarketing calls on behalf of telecommunications company Slingshot.
