Hopefully 5.1 and ATV4 support is coming.

the price is good, and I'd probably subscribe if the audio was OK, and I didn't need another device (we currently don't cast or airplay anything, all our streaming is through the ATV4 apps).

Sky Sport Now, on the other hand, I will be using, so Sky has got me back after dumping it 3 years ago.

I've signed up for Neon after using SkyGo for a few months. There were too many of us trying to use it at the same time particularly now I can cast

Neon is much improved.

+ HD now although many reviews still say it is only SD.

+ Chromecasting just like SkyGo.

- The only controls I've noticed that I'm missing are for jumping 15/30 seconds forward/backwards.

Personnally Neon is better value for me than Netflix, even without FullHD/4K, because of the better programs available - I'm sick of Netflix's the repeating themes of much Netflix content (last person on earth?, zombie, alien killers take over our planet, etc)

No, I hadn't noticed because all the shows I would watch are there. So maybe I shouldn't have hopped off SkyGo:

- Doesn't display the channel that the show/movie is normally on.

- Doesn't have ability to watch all channels esp. sport.

You can go onto Neon and search programs.

I couldn’t see programs from documentaries for ones searched, looks like just TV shows and movies.

Broken Wood Mysteries is there which is a Prime TV show. Also see stuff there from Sky 5 and HBO.

I have a free 3 month trial that need to activate by end of month so will be interesting to see if any changes since last used, guessing last time had it was 8 months plus ago. Hoping new West World comes out while doing trial, think it’s due early next year.

I activated free trial couple days ago.

No Dolby Digital as expected, happy with picture.

The movie Inception sound only coming out centre speaker of 5.1 system, a bit disappointing on that one.

Tested with two other movies and one TV program, sound out all speakers.

As long as majority of programs sound out all speakers may keep it, better value then multiroom with everything included $14 for a non Sports person.

Running it through Vodafone TV to 55 inch oled.

So I signed up for a month as a few shows im wanting to watch.

But I use a Chormebox to watch my media on TV. Am i correct in saying Neon doesn't work on Chromebook or Chromebox?

As I cant get video to actually play on either. Have tried flash on and off and running latest version of chrome.

Not sure if I am being helpful here or not. But just in case I have no trouble casting to my Chromecast.
Not sure how different a chromebox is.

Can't speak for a Chromebox, but I've just installed and tried out the Neon app on my Chromebook (ie, the one from the Google Play Store) and that works fine.

To check, I've now just tried via the Chrome browser on the same Chromebook and it won't play; just get a loading spinning wheel, and when that stops nothing.

Does your Chromebook support Android apps? If so, I suggest trying to download the GPS app if you haven't done so already.
