BraaiGuy: This is a great site. Well done.

I was thinking about something simular a while ago. Maybe you can implement it too..

It would be nice if this site could also list items from other sites in your searches. Ie, priceme, sella?

Great minds think alike, this is something I recently thought of adding.
The problem with sella is they're working on their API at the moment, I'm pretty much waiting for them to get it out there.
I haven't looked at priceme as yet.

Have you tried putting the term you don't want with a minus sign in front of it?
or putting NOT <term>?

Yeah that's possible, it's more the fact that people list items in the wrong sections that annoys me. Anyway that's a bit of topic. I am seriously impressed with your website. Just need to find something to buy now to test it out.

That would be good.

Maybe adding ebay.com.au too? But having the flexibility to just filter on auctions that ship to NZ

And if you really want to get smart. Some US shops, ie Amazon etc and make use of the new youshop international postage service .. :-)

Good Luck

Good luck with that, just don't buy something you didn't really intend to win (I did that once. oops).Smile

Ebay have an API so that shouldn't be too hard. I'll add it to my todo list.
Thanks!

mattRSK: Never heard of TradeMe applications before, is this a new thing?

NZ Post have one too. It is really good.

I like the look of this site. Best of luck. TradeMe are known to suddenly be unreasonable at the drop of a hat so be prepared.

I know... it's something I'm worried about, will just have to see how it goes...

Hi just tried a slow bid and it didn't work, unless it was going to place the bid in the last ten seconds.

It's quite possible that the bid was going to be placed 10 seconds before the auction finished (it varies).
BidBud placed one bid at $6, but didn't continue bidding -- the bid was removed from the system, I assume you deleted it? I don't have detailed logs as to when it was removed, but you don't have to worry about competing against yourself with BidBud, it won't bid if you're winning, regardless of whether it bid or you bid manually.

Great idea. Allready testing/using it now. It allways annoyed me I couldn't set the default view for Trademe showing latest listings. Through your website I now can.

Yes! That's something I forgot to mention. Choose the default sort order once, and keep it that way... something sorely missing from the Trademe site.
Also, all pictures are displayed, regardless of whether people have paid or not.
Let me know if you have any other suggestions/ideas...
