Glassboy: Given the age it's possible it has the black pipes that fail.

I think it is very likely it has that faulty black plumbing, as it looks to be a 70's 80's house where that was installed a lot. Otherwise the photos of the house make it look like a different house, and it is a very simple design and roof, so I can't see what else could be leaking unless some roof flashing need replacing, or there is a hole in the roof. But it is a very simple cheap sort of construction.

Here is a video showing the extent of the dampness: [Clicky]

We've successfully ended the tenancy due to the problems however the landlord is being rather difficult now (as expected) making up stories. Really looking forward to seeing this over and done with since what has started off as a relativity simple request has turned into an absolute hellhole by saying things like "the keys were never returned, you'll be charged for changing the locks" etc when we have. Also blamed us for some couches left in the garage which I had the impression they belonged to the house, we have not even moved our furniture.

Also she keeps calling our emergency contacts as well as spamming us with calls, I've never met somebody so insane.

Ughhh, let it end.

Has it ended, or you still in a quagmire of insanity ?

Were the couches noted on the initial tenancy inspection ?

My thoughts are no longer my own and is probably representative of our media-controlled government
