Update for those interested: after staying up all night to calculate the exact ratio of cement-bm-water, come daylight, we ended up going with postcrete bags. Had a builder mate helping out for a day so didn't want to dick around fetching supplies.

BUT... next project also calls for a dozen posts and this time I'm mixing my own concrete so good to have that knowledge in the back pocket.
