As someone that uses an oven, I'm still perplexed why people would want an air fryer.
I would say in defense of that, my oven is relatively modern. I have been toying with the idea of getting a sous vide combi oven (I notice they all seem to have an air fry function).
It’s just a small oven with a high velocity convection fan.
We use the airfryer for doing small bits and pieces like a few roast potatoes and the oven for biger cooks like a roast or sheet pan meals.
We could get by without our airfryer but it’s useful for what we use it for.
