I lived in a house that is sharing the gate, example mine is 50B and my neighbour is 50A, so we both share a gate.
The previous owner who bought the land build this 2 houses and both house has the same gate remote & garage all in one remote that can open both houses garages.
The owner had rent the 50A house like few years, which now tenants had those All in one remote too.
Recently I discover that the tenants tried to open my garage a few times which I don't feel safe after living for so long & didn't realise they had the same remotes.. now suspect they even managed to get into the house when my family out of town.
Did try to find the owner but seem like they not live in NZ anymore.
So I decided try to erase all the code from the garage receiver memory & reset all the remote that I have, I had follow the instruction from the B&D Installation manual.
The Garage is a B&D CADP model.
Only the B&D Remote that look like this image able to erase & reset
I also have those all in one gate & garage that is this kind of remote which I suspect is the BFT Mitto 2 or 4 buttons remote
I have two of those 2 buttons version and one 4 buttons version.
All this BFT Mitto 2 or 4 remote still able to work to open my garage even after I had erase all the code from the garage receiver memory.
The gate is a BFT brand.
I knew my neighbour had those all in one BFT remotes so which mean even if I erase all the memory from the garage receiver they still able to open my garage.
Is there a master reset for the B&D garage receiver memory?
I have no idea what to do now. Would like to hear anyone able to help.... All i know now is every time if going out have to switch off the power so they won't able to open the garage
