They both have iPhones and iPads.
Any suggestions for what is their best option for (probably unlimited) data over this period for all devices.
Thanks

Unlimited portable data? What would Daryl Kerrigan say?
Both Spark and 2degrees have an unlimited data plans ar ~$130/mth but you theoretically can't hotspot it. Or they could just use 2degrees' Data Clock or Skinny's Data Binge feature - but again you're not supposed to hotspot.
But if you're properly organised, you don't need unlimited data anyway. If it's YouTube or Netflix you don't have to stream. There's always YouTube Red and Netflix allows you to use local storage for offline viewing too.
You used to be able to get access to Spark's WiFi spots for $10/mth which they could use to load up their offline storage, but it appears you can't do that now. But they could port a number to them and put it on a qualifying plan for free access.
