Anyone know why it wouldnt work? Or anything I can try to get it going?
I have had huge trouble trying to watch SkyGo from overseas using VPN's. The only way I found it possible was to be using my sim on roaming and using mobile data (which all goes back via NZ).
The best option for rugby over there is rugbypass using the VPN (Asia based).

I wonder if it's something to do with the guest wifi at the Airbnb we're at.

Have streamed SkyGo in the past from UK and AUS, via home internet BigPipe gigabit.
Running OpenVPN virtual appliance on a intel NUC.
The little things make the biggest difference.
ESPN+ is a US based service, USD5 per month. for rugby and other sports. I've watched the super rugby and international test matches on it (from NZ via dns4me). Fantastic service.
Perfect for when one is in the States.
