Oh I love support!

Bigpipe:

Chorus advised a maximum speed of 11mbps download on VDSL. You are getting around 10. The 1mbps in the difference is to be expected as Chorus measure the speeds from the exchange to your ETP outside your home.
If you are not happy with the speeds on this, we can drop your plan down to the Fast ADSL plan. The ADSL plan just doesn't have as much bandwidth.

Me:

>>The ADSL plan just doesn't have as much bandwidth.

How much bandwidth does the ADSL plan have?

Bigpipe:

Thanks for your email. Good questions, that I actually don't know from looking at your charts. There isn't a single field that stipulates "bandwidth" so I'm sorry that i can't answer that for you.

Now I'm going to crawl to a corner and cry myself to sleep.

I'd like to say we go above and beyond 100% of the time, but we have had a few new staff come onboard recently who are still learning the ropes. DM me your email address and happy to get one of our senior techs to have a look.

Lannah - find me on twitter.
