Maybe this belongs in a privacy forum. It is hard to know. Anyway, the latest vaping development seems to be collecting and reporting data on how much and how often the vaper does it. I swear, the only thing left is microchips in toilet paper. Reality has gone way, way beyond any fiction that ever could have been imagined.

It'll happen so they can track your bowel movements, how many pieces you use, how many times you wipe, and so on........

We need a tracker to track the tracking as I am losing track of the tracking. I will need to retrace the tracking that has previously been tracked.

Glad I don't use a vape.

Also glad that this type of phone which I exclusively use doesn't spy on me or track my location:

Yeah its only connected to a physical address with a billing profile with personal information and payment information on a potentially insecure system that could be breached.

On another note, My old vape told me the date and time and how many times i sucked on it or pressed the button.
This is a trivial thing, They only upload data when connected to the PC if the user even does that (Never once did I).
I couldn't care less if it did that, Might be good metrics for the company so they know the usage of their products to help determine failure or device life time etc. Unless you go giving them all your info yourself I don't think you have a worthy privacy breach.

The iQOS isn't a traditional vape that uses e-liquid and is illegal in NZ from what I last read about it. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I'd be more concerned about our government currently trying to pass a law where its required that all newborns after 2025 have a QR code surgically embedded under the skin for "medical reasons" i.e immunization data etc
