Hi - Interested to know if anyone else is having issues with Samsung Wearable devices being able to achieve a GPS lock (Standalone).

My Galaxy Watch (2 Months old), Gear S3 (2 years Old) and Gear Fit 2 have all struggled in the last month or so to achieve a reliable lock.

Also replicated on a friends watch and a couple of watches at Noel's Pukekohe... Running out of ideas and Samsung don't appear that interested.. Looks like all 3 devices are going back.

Cheers in advance.

I have a couple of friends who have them but they don't seem to have issues with it. They've had it longer than you have I think. Sounds like you tried making a complaint to Samsung already?

Could this be related -

From the article:

The rollover issue itself is caused by the fact that GPS systems count weeks using a ten-bit parameter. This means they start counting at week zero and reset when they hit week 1,024. The first count (or “GPS epoch”) started on January 6th, 1980, and the first reset took place on August 21st, 1999. That means the next one is due April 6th this year.

Possibly might provide another keyword for you to search with, and possibly another angle of attack with Samsung?

I'd double check your not just missing a latest software update.
