The Japanese version of a farming ute is the Suzuki Super carry, head to any rural faming village and they are everywhere
Sorry but as someone who grew up on a farm, that is a rather poor substitute for a Hilux.
Might work fine in an orchard or other flat property (provided it doesn't get too boggy) but won't cope with anything moderately off-road or serious load carrying or tow a decent trailer
I've nothing against mini-utes. We had little Suzuki ute on our farm. But .... even in our application of gentle hills and relatively dry , pumicey soils ... 4WD and large wheels were essential.
