Really? I've been trying the last week or so and they've always been out of stock!!!

Doh!

[edit] just checked my email and saw the deal, annoying. It was on sale a week or so ago too, I selected it, then went to change the color and both sold out in the minute or two between mucking around.

sbiddle: There have been pretty much deals most week for A$399, cheapest I've seen is (from memory) A$369. On top of that you get Aussie GST back leaving the country.

I'm in the market for a pair of QC35's now but cannot find any sharp prices at this time.  I am heading over to Australia for a week next Saturday but haven't been able to find them online at A$399 let alone $369.  Where have they been on special at these prices in Australia?

Or does anyone know of any good deals in NZ that are not listed on Pricespy?

Keep an eye on ozbargain for deals over there. Many of the cheap Aussie prices have been from an eBay seller combined with regular 10% and 15% discounts that eBay have been offering off many products.

I ended up purchasing a pair of QC35s for AUD$419.  After tax back they will cost me approximately NZD$410.  I'm happy with that price.  Pick them up next week when I am over there.

I just returned my pair of QC35s, they were absolutely useless to use in Sydney. A step outside and the wireless interference will cause it to stutter, have returned them for a pair of Sony MDR1000X which is better sounding and the NC is better.

Sound quality wise:

Sennheiser Momentum Wireless > Sony MDR1000X > QC35

Noise cancellation

MDR1000X > QC35 > Momentum Wireless

Comfort they're pretty much the same and subjective.
