Pretty glad I fast forwarded the last half hour of that playoff for third game.

Argentina still slightly lack the fitness, skills and accuracy across the park for the fast game they are trying to play. I hope they continue to improve as they do play a good mix of rugby.

In the history of the RWC, pretty doesn't cut it, usually. Resilience usually is the difference. Of course, there's no guarantee either way.

Yeah I don't care when it comes to the final. A win is a win. Really hope we play to our potential and take the opportunities on offer though. And for the sake of rugby I do hope it's a good game.

Did anyone read that article in the herald "The McCaw stats you won't believe"? Normally those buzzfeed-type headlines turn out to be a load of sh*t, but this one stat is pretty hard to fathom:

32 percent- Of the All Blacks' 412 victories since 1903, McCaw has been on the field for 32 percent of them. 130 wins in black to be exact.

So McCaw has played in almost a third of all black victories over the past 112 years - that seems crazy.

itxtme: It appears I am not the only one that has been thinking it! Former All Black Craig Dowd says it's time for Kieran Read to 'stand up' in World Cup final

Strong team, lets hope they all fire!

To be fair, all KR has to to do 'step up' is cut down on mistakes - particularly handling errors and occasionally a missed tackle. If you look at his stats/work around the field hes still a big contributor. Just not out on the tramlines with awesome passes like he was in 2013 - that seems to be Dane Coles now.

I agree. All this talk of his issues, but I just don't see it being that big a problem. He has been immense in tackles and defending and at the breakdown.

I'd love for him have his best game of 2015.

I am sad that there is no more rugby for 2 months this year.

I know it's only one half done, but i thought the SA match was more interesting. SA stronger than Australia. Maybe they have run out of steam from last week.

Is it just me or do the ABs seem to score most of their points when a knock-on or forward pass is missed by the officials?

So far 10 points have come off the back of Nigel Owens waving play on, and we're only half way in

It's just you.

Although in this game, I thought the pass that lead to a penalty (before the try) was forward.

ABs precise on everything close can't be beat. Maybe even faster for the second half now.
