knighthoods for chasing a leather ball around a field.

they should be reserved for something that matters.

Absolutely. The importance being attached to something of so little relevance to life is astonishing.

What a thoroughly enjoyable game. The Wallabies were incredibly brave and the way they came back scared the cr@p out of me.

The players finishing up were all great and Nonu just had a stormer. So incredibly proud of what these guys have accomplished.

If you don't want to acknowledge what this team means to a large portion of this country or recognise the joy they have brought To so many all I can say is pffft to you.

Wow what a game! Felt we were dominant and did something we traditionally have been unable to do and START well.

We are TRUE world champions, having beat Australia, SA, Argentina and FRANCE.

We deserve our title!

All those people who doubted, silenced, hopefully once and for all!

The question now is, who is our starting number 10 in 2016?

What a game. Just when I was getting comfortable, Smith gets sin-binned and Aussie almost catch up. So up goes the heart rate. The TMO input after Nigel Owens had decided on only a penalty, disappointed me a bit, especially when some of the aussie foul play went unpunished or only a penalty (a late tackle and a high shot on Carter by Seo to name just two).
It's easy to say now but I'm really glad it wasn't decided by a scrum or ruck penalty (or a rolling maul).

I was impressed with Stephen Moores Speech, I am not his biggest fan but he took that like a man.

Not so impressed with his boss though! He did look inconsolable. I was expecting better from him honestly.

I agree, though I think there was genuine miscommunication occuring due to micro delays in transmission between the two of them.

I am also glad it wasn't that close in the end!

There were some stuff not picked up on both sides. I think the reffing was pretty even overall.

Man that BB kid has some speed! Ma'a as well. Seriously impressive.

I disagree, Cheika has worn his heart on his sleeve throughout the whole tournament. That he took the loss so hard is completely understandable.

Dan Carter was a revelation this whole tournament. I admit I thought he was past his best earlier in the year, but glad to have been proven wrong. Greatest All Black number 10 ever, probably. It will be interesting to see if he is named player of the year.
The game will be dissected over the next few days, but I don't care, we won!
Just glad when I go to Oz next week I can pack my ABs supporters shirt.

Dingbatt: I don't have an issue with him taking the loss hard, it wasn't that I was critisizing.

I think it's fair to say DC is easily the greatest #10 ever. I can't think of a single who even comes close.

Richie for my money, however is greatest player to ever take the field.

Impossible to underestimate what we lose when they aren't AB's any longer.

I am also wondering on 12/13. For my money 13 should really go to Crotty, I am not convinced we have a really ideal 2nd choice 12.
