Wow the Jaguares (or Argentina) are playing some awesome rugby. If they can just get their horrible, terrible, filthy tactics out of the game, then they will be a force to be contended with. I think they could potentially become 3-4th in the world pretty easily.

They really should have been down to 12 men in that game against the Cheetahs, which makes their win even more impressive.

These numbers can't be right?

What a fantastic game between the Chiefs and Lions. The Lions looked the better team all night, though the Chiefs did put together a couple of pretty decent tries. Elton Jankies has definitely had the best outing at 10 I've seen so far in the early season. The Lions half back is LIGHTNING quick and boy did they put together some sublime Rugby! Amazing! The Chiefs really did well to stay within 7 points, credit to them. Discipline seems to be an ongoing issue, and with a LOT of new members it has to be something that isn't getting through from the coaching team (Or is being condoned or encouraged). Damien McKenzie has been NZ player of the season so far for my money, he looks like he could be in for a cracker season.

Wow that was a tight game. Jason Woodward will be getting thrashed in the changing sheds!

Fekitoa had his best game in a long while. TJP doesn't look a shadow of his previous years self though he did score that try.

The Hurricanes are missing the structure and calming influence provided by Conrad Smith, it will be interesting to see whether they can identify that themsevles and find someone suitable to play that role. The number of mistakes they made tonight was pretty awful to watch.

Yep, brain explosion is the only way to describe Woodwards decision.  Canes handling and penaltys letting them down big time.  Lucky they didnt lose by more, that was def a try to Fekitoa.

Mate, losing 12 and 13 and playing 2 noobs there would completely disrupt both attack and defence. Of course the season is still young, and there is time for the canes to find their style.

Didn't take Liam Messam long to attract a Yellow Card in 7's again. Ugh.

Fantastic TMO reffing tonight between the Hurricanes and Blues, and unbelievable defense by the Hurricanes in the last 4 minutes. Hurricanes deserved to win it on that I think. Both teams showed some pretty average defense early on. The Blues aren't really showing MUCH of what they showed week one, though obviously the team is still in it's infancy in a lot of ways and combinations will take time to Gel.

I wonder how much better the Hurricanes will be once their injured players return. Cory Jane is a shadow of his former self to my mind. I hope he can find some of that sparkle.

Richard Turner's commentary is starting to make me want to turn off the TV. Horrible.

Interesting weekend of Rugby! Chiefs, Highlanders, Hurricanes all had pretty big wins, and the Crusaders win would have been a thrashing (Though hard fought) if it weren't for their tendency to throw wild passes resulting in yet more intercept tries. SMH.

Anyone else see that Andrew Hore is going to be the new CEO of the Warratahs?

NPC (Mitre 10 Cup) will now have 6 point tries, 2 point conversions. Penalty tries are 8 points with no requirement for conversion. Drop goals and Penalty kicks will be 2 points each. All in the name of producing more attacking Rugby.

Not sure how I feel about these changes, but willing to see what happens.
